[COM] I'm Here to Help! (Earth-71) by Trekkiegal

Owen Renko could barely breath, and the smoke burned his eyes as he staggered through his apartment. All he knew was that something had hit the building complex, something hard. Picture frames, and his flat screen were knocked off the wall by the impact. Almost immediately the fire alarm started blaring. Owen had tried to get out his door, but found it blocked, presumably by some debris. Then the smoke had come.

He heard his neighbors screaming, others crying, and some hollering for help as he stumbled towards a window. Coughing, his lungs desperate for air, he fought unconsciousness as long as he could. Panicking, he started banging on the glass.

Just when he started losing hope, a vast shadow filled his view. Instinctively, (out of fright most likely) Renko backed away as a large silvery hand smashed through the glass and mortar. Just as he was about to black out, Owen felt said hand grab him with a gentleness that belied it's massive size. Soon cool fresh air hit him, the light outside blinding from the darkness that had choked his eyes previously.

He coughed, wheezed as he tried to steady himself.

"It's okay. You're alright now. You're safe." said a voice, it was calm yet strong. Through teary eyes Owen looked up at a face he recognized. It was Mighty Amazonia. She had saved him.
"Don't worry. I'm here to help." she whispered, winking down at him. By the time she lowered him to paramedics, Owen Renko was out cold. Giggling to herself, the giant heroine went about aiding in the rescue/recovery.


A neat little commission idea I bought from of her character's "Earth-71" counterpart, who in this world (like everyone else) is more in line with old-school Japanese Tokusatsu TV shows and movies than Western comics.

You're meant to be seeing it from Renko's perspective.

The thing that hit the apartment was a stray beam from a giant monster Mighty Amazonia was fighting. 

Gonna have to play more with this world concept in the near future.
