Excerpts from the personal audio logs of Doctor Alexander Valiant.

The So-Called "Wildcards":
-American Hero: "Heart's in the Right (though at times violently misguided) Spot... but her "black and white" outlook and devotion to extremism leaves much (MUCH) to be desired. If she were to clean up her act, and maybe change some of her ways she'd actually live up to her title."

Doc tries to stay out of the political arena as much as possible, having had more than his share of such things in the past. Also, since he's seen how Olga turned out, (a woman from the same world as her) Valiant isn't exactly impressed by Jane Smith's activities as of right now. While some would classify her as a villain, right now (as far as Valiant is concerned) she's a wildcard, still an unknown quantity. Whether or not his views will change depends on Jane's own personal actions in the future.

-Crimson Conservative: "While I'm on the subject of extremists, there's this red-headed giantess. While I can't/won't condone her methods, and while her outlook on life is a bit intense even for me (being more of a moderate myself in many realms of politics), she DOES deal with alot of the criminals who tend to get overlooked amidst the more superpowered threats to the city. For better or worse."

It's safe to assume that Doc knows alot about some of the issues surrounding the foggy past of "Connie". But perhaps better known is her political outlook, as she stands out in the superhero community. While he'd probably personally disagree with her on 90% of her beliefs (again that whole "largely moderate" thing) if they ever met, he'd never question her devotion to fighting crime. Then there's the possibility of them "bonding" over WW2 stories.

-Jack Matthews: "Seeing this young man makes me feel like a dinosaur at times. Stronger, Faster, and likely more durable than me. Still... can't help but wonder if there's a connection between us through the various experiments conducted on us both. Must investigate further."

Like Captain America, Doc Valiant can be seen as this Prototype to an eventual long line of attempted weapons projects that keep getting more and more powerful while also (at times) getting more and more out of hand with each new incarnation. Would make for an interesting meeting, the original "super-soldier" meeting the latest "model", Jack Matthews. Now whether or not said meeting would end in a fist-fight is anyone's guess.

-Haunting Shade: "Met her grandfather once, he was hired by my father (in secret of course) to teach me the art of picking locks and handcuffs. Even after undergoing the process to become the man I am today... I would still use his teachings at times should the need for stealth and finesse be required. I can only imagine her expertise would put me to shame."

Like the idea of tying some histories together in small ways (something Shade's creator agreed with). And who better to teach your son such tricks as picking locks or escaping handcuffs/shackles/chains/etc. than one of the world's greatest thieves?!?! How Thomas Valiant got ahold of the original Haunting Shade would make for an interesting story.

-Sahlia: "Interesting profession, interesting.... woman? A thief who specializes in aiding heroes. Have never used her (their?) services... yet. Most of my stuff is locked in vaults... and other places. Have no idea where she comes from... will have to investigate further."

A two-headed, six-armed humanoid woman kinda gets your attention. Doc Valiant is no different. Will just have to add it to his ever-growing list of things to look into in the near future.

-Raging Bull: "Someone who's powers are so ruled by their emotional state is a potential powder keg of problems if things go south. He may be a Guardian currently, (thanks to the actions of people like Polygirl, whom he seems to have taken a liking to) but until I'm personally convinced of these apparent changes in his attitude, he's still going to be considered a possible (though unintentional) threat as far as I'm concerned."

It's going to probably be a while for Doc to truely change his opinion of Gordon. Not out of any real dislike, or hatred, but more for the fact that when Raging Bull taps into his powers, (even if it's for the forces of good) it can end up looking like someone dropped a bomb on a city street. He worries about how that would drastically change should this new direction in Gordon's life backfire or go wrong.
Well here's the next part of the current PoV for Doc Valiant. This time it's about the "Wildcards", individuals who don't exactly fit into either the hero or villain category.

And this is where it might get a bit interesting as to whom he considers a wildcard. Some whom are considered villains or heroes by others come across to him (right now) as wildcards. So you may see some surprising additions to this.

As well as a surprising connection between him and one of the entries (something her creator gave permission to).

Again, hope I don't screw up on the characters too much.

:bulletblue::bulletblack: Jack Matthews:bulletblack::bulletblue: If you wish to test yourself against me, I have to give you a fair warning....I'm a Super Soldier alright, but I'm-- well, don't want to give any surprise.
