Sprite Stuff: Fake 'Horror Heroes' RPG 17

Another night, another dip into this supposedly 'fake' project that's taking up about as much time as if it WERE an actual game project.

As stated in an earlier installment, the basic idea I've had is that after the intro prologue with Jack Crow, the story would branch off into three possible paths to explain how other main characters (Ash, Buffy, and either Sarah or Misa) get drawn into the events that unfold.

Well Buffy's story branch basically brings her up against the Kothoga, so figured I needed to do something to explain how Ash Williams got involved.

It basically involves him starting during the last few days of the store 'S-Mart', which in this game's continuity is being bought out by 'Value Stop' (which Ash is currently employed in at the start of the Starz TV show). 

Seems someone's managed to free the Murderous Electrical Elemental, Horace Pinker, from his old analogue prison. And it seems the big bastard's in the mood to celebrate his new freedom by going on a new murder spree... right in the middle of the store.

This someone is more than likely a certain blonde satanic sorcerer, but to what end? Who knows.

Was REALLY challenging making this 'S-Mart' background, bits and pieces taken from the Sailor Moon Arcade Beat-Em Up. Ash is simply a retooled sprite from before. just with an S-Mart outfit on, and of course his chainsaw hand switched out for his gauntlet prosthetic.

And Horace Pinker is another combination of various Final Fantasy monster sprites, edited of course to look like Mitch Pileggi in an orange prison jumpsuit.
