Sprite Stuff: Fake 'Super Mario RPG' Sequel 4

Another entry into this 'fake' game that I'm devoting a little too much time to.


Because I can't help it, I've developed a bit of a story for this. Bowser teams up with Eggman in an alliance that was meant to benefit the both of them by taking out their hated opponents, Mario and Sonic. During the course of this story, Eggman learns of the power of Stars in the Mario world, and over the course of the story begins to slowly develop his own plans to harness both these and the Chaos Emeralds.

To achieve this end, he rebuilds some of the Smithy Gang in hopes of reverse-engineering their tech to better harness this potential power source. By this time he's clearly not intending to keep his alliance with Bowser, and soon betrays the Koopa King. Thus Bowser is forced to join with Mario again to get his revenge... and possibly reclaim his kingdom again.

But due to his hubris, and ego, Robotnik doesn't realize till it's too late that his new "allies"/"lackeys" seek to resurrect their true boss... and improve him using Eggman's tech. So yeah one big 'backstabbing conga line'.

Still working on why Pac-Man is involved. XD


Made using SMRPG sprites and assets, as well as Sonic X-Treme sprites. The Eggman in this is a big mixture of Segasonic, Sonic 3D Blast, and Sonic Advance Robotnik sprites.

Been really enjoying the hell out of this 'project'. Still got a few ideas in mind for this, so expect to see more 'screenshots' in the future.

Would love to see this become an actual game... just don't know how I'd go about making it, and am liable to get a 'cease and desist' letter from all the parties involved before it got too far. XD
