Description

From the Files of Doctor Valiant-

File no. 34592x

Subject Name: 'Death Master'
Real Name: UNKNOWN
Date of Birth: UNKNOWN
Date of Death: May 5, 1972
Country of Origin: UNKNOWN (Presumably United States)
Occupation: Assassin, Hired Killer

Personal Notes:
A mystery wrapped in an event full of enigmas and loose-ends. This 'Death Master' was one of many individuals involved in the so-called 'One Day War' incident that, while brief, rocked many in the United States Government and possibly even more in the Hero Community. What has always made this man stand out was his accomplishment, of besting and crippling the Black Spider.

From some of the things I've been able to recover since this near-catastrophic event was that he's no mere Hired Gun, no simple Cutthroat. From what Sabrina Swift, Liberty, and Spartan-One have told me... this man seemed to be specially trained to take on 'superheroes'. If what I've read is true, his style of fighting sounds awfully familiar.

Too familiar.

My government sources seemed to be even more lacking in information about this individual. The only things I've been able to truly connect was a link between him and a man I had the displeasure of meeting during that Day, the one known simply as "Mr. Kill" (such imaginative titles). Both are veritable phantoms, having seemingly 'manifested out of nowhere' and their trails string thin. They don't even seem to have been trained by the Invisible Hand itself, more like they were simply being hired out from some other source.

Camilla Gomez has her suspicions that it might have been the work of the Crescent Alliance, though I'm having some of my own doubts about that hypothesis. Doesn't have the style or earmarks of Alliance work. The so-called 'Sultan' might be many things, but he's not that reckless. He's a lover of the long game. This situation was too risky... too much of a gamble for how he operates. THOUGH that doesn't necessarily rule out the possibility of ties or connections to the Alliance.

Reminder: log the word 'Odysseus' for future investigations.

Here he is, the man who took out the Black Spider. ;)

Meant to be a mixture of Taskmaster, Slaymaster, Deathstroke, and bits and pieces of guys like Golgo 13, Agent 47, Deadshot, etc.

If things for my stories pan out, eventually, he's gonna have some connections to various areas of :iconangel-fallsda:, especially some of the stuff I've been setting up a bit in my most recent (main, in-canon) stories.

Used some mugen sprites of Daredevil, Deathstroke, and Agent Venom. Wanted to keep his look simple, and look functional.

Hope it looks good.

He lived, at one point, in the world of :iconangel-fallsda:

Actually, it is the Crescent Alliance.  They move pawns like a game of chess.  Each pawn is in a different form, albeit the UHF, the Invisible hand, whatever.  By this time the Canadian Syndicate was gaining influence as well, all a separate arm of the octopus known as the Crescent Alliance.  Sad part......No one will ever find out this information.  With Jural Kirin's Death (so we believe) in 2015, these entities were own their own....but only time will tell IF the Crescent Alliance is truly gone.

It's a quote for an upcoming story.Evil Onion

The opinions expressed in this comment are canon.  As for why this revelation comes about, ask Alexander Valiant, because I think this is something up his alley.
