Sprite Work: Panthera

Cursed by a jewel (the Balmaku Jade) she found in Central America in 1932, (then sold for a handsome sum) freelance archaeologist Maria Rodriguez soon found herself having weird 'black out spells' during the night. At the end of these 'spells' she'd find herself (usually in the nude) in treetops... building roofs... and other spots that she had no memory of having travelled to. 

Apparently the Jade turns those cursed into an uncontrollable 'Were-Jaguar' creature at night. Through her contacts (and using most of/burning through her vast wealth) she found an ancient counter-spell that helped her better harness these abilities... AND keep control of it. Using her newly found powers, Maria set out to regain her wealth by becoming a world-class cat burglar. 

In 1937, she arrived in Angel Falls... hot on the trail of the Balmaku Jade... which just so happens to be at the 'Noir Museum of Natural Mysteries', owned by a certain adventurer... Patrick Noir. Changing her name to Balamaria... she tried to get close to the Jade by getting a job at the museum.

She would go on to become one of Amazonia's most hated foes... and would play a role in Camilla Gomez's death in the mid-80's.

Made using Felicia from 'Darkstalkers' and Rosemary from that 'Asura Blade/Buster' series. AND the heels from Birdy, that blonde lady who at one time worked for Sabretooth.
