Sprite Work: The Kestrel

Another character of mine from the Golden Age of , and member of the first roster of the Protectors.

A young up and coming hero (inspired by the likes of Mr. Scarab, Black Spider, and Amazonia) who defends the streets of Chicago. One of the first members of the Protectors, he seemed to disappear from the public spotlight sometime around their first mission. Whereabouts are known to only a few.

-A bit over-enthusiastic, with near-constant optimism (think Smokescreen from Transformers Prime). Easily approachable,
and tries to make friends with each member of the Protectors, even the Black Spider (who's like his polar opposite in terms
of personality).

Basically he's like one of those Golden Age characters you only read a few sentences about, have small wiki articles about them, or minor cameos (ie: the original Angel, the Whizzer, Bulletman, etc.) while other characters (like Captain America, Sub-Mariner, etc.) are still widely known.
